Reverend: Lets have a peaceful march for our voting rights.
It's 1965, people of color are not getting the same rights as the rest of the people in the nation. Mainly in Marion Alabama. Doctor king sets out to organize a march for voting rights. Reverend and others join him to make it possible. They leave to make the march.
Dr. King: Jackson has been murdered by the troops.
Many people gathered to walk the streets. To bring the message that people of color should also have the rights to vote. At this time voting was hard for them as many were faced with threatening and beating just to to register. Everything was going well.....

Then hostility broke loose. The marchers were facing state troops and mobs all trying to take down the marchers. Many of the marchers were severally hurt.
"Their cause must be our cause, too."
Dr. King is giving a meaningful speech at Jimmie Lee Jonson's Funeral. Jackson was a twenty seven year old protecting his mom from troops attacking them at the march. After 8 days he passed away. Leading to the second march in his name.
Revered makes the second march called 55 mile March to get to the Selma capital .Revered wanted free right to vote and protest Jackson murder. But they were stopped by the state troops of Alabama and a police riot. It became so violent that it was named Bloody Sunday.
President Johnson is giving a speech about what happened on Bloody Sunday on live T.V to spread the message. President Johnson was on the same side the civil rights activists were on. He wanted to help pass the voting rights act With that he and the activist helped pass the law.
