- Stage 2: Protest

- This was when the British started to take cape colony from the Afrikaans, claiming it was theirs.
- Stage 3: Revolution
- WE WANT CHANGE! WE WANT CHANGE! WE WANT CHANGE!
- This was Afrikaans complaining, obviously not happy with what was going on, which was britain taking over cape colony away from them.
- Stage 4: Recovery
- New constitution! YAY!
- This was Soweto's protest in africa, when students were protesting and 2 of them were shot and killed in the protest.
- students protested for a change, and in soweto officers opened fire killing 2 children. " at least 575 people, almost all black, were killed.
- Yeah!
- you cant take our stuff!
- in 1996 south african got a new constitution, which includes freedom of religion, belief, opinion, expression, press, and political activity. in 1997 De Klerk released mandela from prison, and Mandela resigned as head of ANC.
