- The Apostles and other followers of Jesus gathered on the 50th day after Easter on Shavuot, the Jewish Holiday when the wheat is harvested. The day was the 25th of May of the year A.D.33. They gathered to worship Jesus and celebrate his resurrection.
- All of a sudden a strong wind blew and the Holy Spirit came upon them. Tongues of fire appearred above the peoples heads. They started to speak different languages that they didnt know before. This marks the descent of the Holy Spirit and marks the start of the Catholic Church’s mission to the world. God was also showing them the true power of the Holy Spirit and that he keeps his Promises .

- Oh no, what happened, are they ok???
- The people who were outside went in because of all the chatter, Some were worried, some were amazed and some just sat there and made fun of them. God communicated to his people through the Holy spirit and this event is unigue because these are some of the only people in the world to have ever experienced the physical power of the Holy Spirit.
