Act 1, Scene 2[A military camp near Forres. Trumpets sound. Enter King Duncan, Malcolm, Donalbain, Lennox, and Attendants, meeting a bleeding soldier.]
Macbeth killed the traitor and he was really brave.
I will give Macbeth the new title - Thane of Cawdor.
Great news. great happiness. The victory fell on us!
Act 1, Scene 3[A wasteland . Thunder. Enter the three Witches.]
I'm pretty skeptical about that. I'm just not going to do anything.
Ooohhh! Stay, you imperfect speakers, tell me more!!!
All hail Macbeth, the new Thane of Cawdor. You will also become the King one day. For Banquo, your children will also be King one day. Mwahahaha.
The three witches gather together to discuss their plan of meeting up with Macbeth after the battlefield is finished. They will tell Macbeth what will happen to him. Then they disappear.
Act 1, Scene 5[Inverness, Macbeth's castle. Enter Lady Macbeth, reading a letter]
You, my thane, you have to act innocent as a flower to accompany our murderous plans.
King Duncan will be here tonight.
King Duncan asks the wounded soldier for news about the battle. The wounded soldier replies that Macbeth has killed the traitor Macdonald and gained victory. King Duncan decides to give Macbeth the new title King of Cawdor that he deserves.
Act 1, Scene 6[Before Macbeth's castle, flutes and torches. Enter Duncan, Malcolm, Donalbain, Banquo, Lennox, Macduff, Ross, Angus, and Attendants.]
It is our duty to do so.

On their way to the King's court, Banquo and Macbeth meet the three witches. They told Macbeth that he will be given the new title - King of Cawdor and Macbeth will also become the King one day. For Banquo, they told him that he will never be King, but his children will. Then the witches vanish into thin air.
Act 1, Scene 7[Macbeth's castle. Sound of oboes, torches for light. Enter a butler and various servants with dishes, who pass across the stage. Then enter Macbeth.]
You coward! When Duncan is asleep and the guards are drunk, we will sneak in to kill him. You got that?
I don't want to kill him anymore. He has been treating me really well.
Lady Macbeth receives a letter from Macbeth and finds out about the witches' prophecy that he will become the King. Lady Macbeth then tries to convince Macbeth to kill King Duncan to obtain the throne. Then a messenger enters and informs Lady Macbeth that the King will visit Macbeth's castle. Lady Macbeth decides to act as a man to help her husband kill King Duncan.
King Duncan, the Scottish lords, and their attendants arrive at Macbeth’s castle. Duncan compliments that the castle's atmosphere is really nice and pleasant. Lady Macbeth shows her hospitality to everyone.
Macbeth left to go have some moment for himself. He reminded himself that Duncan holds him dear and he changes his mind about killing Duncan. Then Lady Macbeth enters and gets furious at Macbeth. She said that as long as they do what has planned, they will not fail.
