- This was the middle age, also known as the dark age; an age in which all the explanation of the reality was conceived by gods or magic and whoever who doesn't agree with that was tortured for questioning the existence of it. It is called dark age because they were living in the dark of the ignorance.
- Good morning to everyone, I am Mr. Carlos and today we're gonna be working on a presentation for my students about the scientific revolution! We need to finish it before my students are here, so lets hurry
- In the Middle Age, a great number of European intellectuals became interested in the world around them based on the teachings of Aristotle. An intellectual movement raised that sought to regulate society on scientific principles and left behind the magical-religious beliefs.

- To start with, let me write the topic on the board and start defining what the scientific revolution was

- As you can read, it was basically the questioning of every single magical or religious belief during the Middle Age, but, What is the middle age exactly? Let me explain it to you.
- Scientific Revolution
- But why? I just had some doubts about God, why didn't he helped me with the disease of my mother?

- And here comes the Enlightenment which was a philosophical movement in which intellectuals used ideas of the Scientific Revolution to examine some aspects of life. This movement emerged in Europe and had its peak in France.
- Then the French Revolution: a social and political movement which created a new political era in Europe. France was ruled by an absolutist monarch. By that time, it had also waged wars against England. Additionally, there was a marked social division with a rigid pyramidal structure. When the Revolution triumphed, the old French system of government was deposed and the Republic was established, and three branches emerged.
