- Hi, my name is Ronny the red blood cell. I play an important role in your body, I am apart of the circulatory system.
- My Day starts in the heart. I start my day of deoxygenated, meaning that I have no oxygen.

- I am pumped through arteries in the heart
- I am pumped through the right atrium. When the right atrium contracts I am pumped into the right ventricle.
- I am pumped out of the heart and through the Pulmonary artery and into the lungs. I pick up Oxygen from the lungs.
- The left ventricle contracts pushing me out of the semi lunar and out of the heart into the aorta. I travel through the aorta into you body.
- I make my way back to the heart through the pulmonary vein. I have reached the left atrium. The left atrium contracts and I am pushed into the left ventricle.
- I travel through veins down to the brain. I deliver oxygen and nutrients to the brain that help them to function.
- I leave the brain and head to the kidneys.
- Brain
- I travel down through veins to the kidneys. I deliver oxygen and nutrients for the kidneys to help them function.
- Kidneys
- I leave the kidneys and make my journey back to the heart.
- I arrive back at the heart, it took me 45 seconds to do a full lap of the body.
- I am now ready to start my journey all over again.
