- Everyone kept asking me who I wanted to be and I didn't know. I really wanted to be a doctor but wasn't sure what it really involved
- But then I found Alice on ECON - Alice is a n Emanuel parent and an A&E consultant - she gave me the information and confidence to apply to medical school
- Emily had loads of potential and lots of ideas - she just needed advice from someone who'd been there to help focus on what she really wanted
- I was in year 11 and I knew I had to find some work experience but I had no idea who to ask
- But then I found Bob on ECON - Bob's an Emanuel parent and runs a company producing mobile games apps. and was offering work experience.
- I was impressed with Tom's enquiry email - he'd obviously done some research into my company and I was happy to give him a shot
- I knew I didn't want to go to university but I wanted to be an engineer - I just wanted to get hands on straightaway but i didn't know how!
- Ava knew what she wanted to do, she just didn't know how to achieve it. I was impressed with her focus and passion for engineering. By signing up to ECON I've been able to encourage girls like Ava to become engineers
- But then I found Fatima on ECON. Fatima's an Emanuel parent and the chief Engineer at a hydroelectric plant. They run and apprenticeship scheme and Fatima was able to give me loads of information and mentor me through the application process
