I don't care about Covid, Vaccines are dangerous! This vaccine was WAY too rushed, we're not getting it.
I would feel safer with the vaccine.
Scene 2: Anti-mask
Great, everyone is looking at us.
Scene 3: Last Party Before Restrictions

Get vaccinated FREAK. It's your fault we're still in a pandemic.
Ew, I don't even wanna be near her.

However most people were wearing a mask meaning that wearing masks in greater public spaces had already become a norm. People at the mall starred judgingly at Olivia for not wearing a mask and informal punishment occurred.
Scene 5: The Start of Missing Out
Hey! Wanna go catch a movie later?
The next night, Olivia goes out with friends to a house party. Using anticipatory socialization and in an attempt to avoid the embarrassment she felt at the mall, Olivia made sure to wear a mask. Scene 6: All Alone
I miss my friends
Eventually, people in Olivia's university classes find out that she is not vaccinated and her classmates bully her for it. The stigma is that since Olivia doesn't have her covid vaccine, she must not have any of her other vaccines, which is not the case. People also assumed that she has covid just because she is not vaccinated.
Soon enough, new restrictions are announced, it is now considered breaking the law to go out certain places such as restaurants, the movies and the university campus without being vaccinated. If this law gets broken, there will be formal punishment. . The idea of socialization is dismissed, as Olivia now has to miss out on social opportunities and life experiences and she will struggle to furthermore grow and become aware of herself socially.
Sorry, I can't.
Due to Olivia's mom's choices, Olivia experiences social isolation and loneliness. Olivia can no longer attend school in person, her only option is online school. She is forced to communicate with her school and talk to friends through mediated interaction.
