- We need shelters.
- We need barbs to put on the spears! next time i'l get that pig.
- Don't You Want To Be Rescued?All You Think About Is Pig Pig Pig!

- But We Want Meat!
- Jack comes back from hunting and sees Ralph building shelters. Jack is thirsty and asks Ralph for some water. Ralph is spaced out and then answers and says there should be some in the coconut husk.
- Lord Of The Flies
- Shut up!
- Jack talks about needing barbs on the spear so the spear doesn't fall out. He also talks bout how he will get the pig next time. While Ralph is worried about shelters and says that they are more important.
- Lord Of The Flies
- Ralph gets mad at Jack saying that he only thinks about killing the pig. Jack says that the kids want meat but Ralph argues back with asking him if he wants to be rescued.
- Lord Of The Flies
- Ralph and Jack keep arguing about what priorities should be, while Simon wonders off to get his mind off things.
- Simon goes into the forest and sees the littluns trying to get fruits to eat. He helps them out by getting the fruits off the tall trees where they can't reach them.

- Simon goes deeper into the forest and looks at the scenery and starts to meditate. He stays there for a while when the chapter ends.
