- I love to have conversations! It's important to be a good listener and a good communicator.
- Sometimes, I get really excited and forget to wait until it's my turn to talk
- To be a good listener, we must: Listen with out bodies by being still, calm, and looking at our friends when they are talking.Listen with our minds by nodding when they speak to let them know you understand. After they finish, ask questions related to your conversation! Now is the time to share your thoughts!

- Sometimes when I talk to my friends, I talk too much or interrupt. It is important to apologize and give my friends the chance to talk.
- I'm sorry for interrupting you! I really like roller coasters too! Please tell me more about your trip to Disney!
- Remember! Being a good listener means being respectful and waiting until it is my turn
- When I am a good listener and a good communicator, my friends will want to do the same when it is my turn!
- And after giving our friends a turn to talk, remember to show them you're listening! You can say "cool!" or, "tell me more!" or ask questions!
