- Haydn is well known for being an influential creator of the mature classical style.He wrote 70 string quartets, 106 symphonies, and 52 piano sonatas.
- Mozart is know for composing and expanding opera as well as his compositions in symphony.He composed 600 works for all musical genres.
- Ways Mozart and Haydn influenced the orchestra was that the orchestra became standardized, and additional instruments like clarinets, trumpets, and timpanis were added.
- Operas changed by having less elaobrate musical forms and more realistic plots. Excessive vocal displays were used less; the focus was more on the coherence, music, and plot of the opera.
- Mozart had a musical family and was the most famous child prodigy. He was exposed to a wealth of musical styles throughout his childhood, This could have influenced the variety and excellence of all the musical genres he wrote.
- Haydn studied composition, violin, and keyboard at Saint Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, which was the Home to Classical Composers. This probably gave him a good base and knowledge over music to help him later in his works.
