- School uniforms are a clothing policy that requires everyone in the school to wear the same clothes.Background information/School uniforms have been going around for a long time in the U.S.
- Thesis
- There are a few main reasons that I think school uniforms should not be a thing,first they restrict the freedom of choice,secondly they have been shown not to improve the conditions in the school,and finally they can tend to cost a lot of money.
- Solution/Reason 1
- School uniforms are disliked because they are believed to take away individuality and decision making .Student believe that the policy of school uniforms promote confirmatory.The majority of people against uniforms agree that they tend to get rid of the creativity and freedom of picking the school clothes that you want to wear for the day.
- Solution/Reason 2
- When a school gets school uniforms it has been shown to not change the atafer and the quality of the environment very much. There are many studies that have shown that the school uniform has not affected the quantity of the school.It was shown That the problem caused for the change in a school is not caused by the school uniforms but the community wanting to change. There have also been studies that have been shown that it is a combination of factors and not the uniforms themselves
- Solution/Reason 3
- The average school uniform can cost a lot of money per uniform which can affect people who do not have the money to buy them A Lot of companies who sell school uniforms sell them at high prices so that they can gain money from schools which does not help people who can not afford to buy the uniforms.In total Americans spend $26.2 billion on school uniforms.ALos some schools can require them to buy the uniforms from the school which can and will raise the cost of the school uniforms

- There are plenty of reasons that school uniforms should not exist,beside the 3 i have listed so you should go look for you own
