This bill has now become a law!
The bill is edited and discussed. It is prepared to send over to the Senate who will hopefully approve it.
The Senate is similar to the House of Commons but is made up of people chosen by the Prime Minister. The Senate reads and discusses the bill. They vote and approve if they like it.
The Senate sends it to the Governor-General who will sign it. After she signs the bill it becomes a law for everyone to follow.
