- Old Major, a well respected pig on the farm gathers all the animals up on the farm to tell him about a dream where all the animals are free. He tells them that they must rebel against Mr. Jones to obtain freedom. Shortly after they kick Mr. Jones and his men off the farm.

- Work animals! If you want to be fed, then work as hard as you can!

- After Mr. Jones and his men left the farm work began immediately. Two pigs have taken leadership; Snowball and Napoleon. The animals are required to work long work hours and are learning how to read and write.

- After some time, Mr. Jones comes back to the farm with his men in attempt to reclaim it. The animals had suffered many losses with a lot of dead and injured animals. Eventually the animals outnumbered the humans which forced them to retreat, killing one of Mr. Jones' men.
