- Hi! My name is Berenice. I go to school in a classroom at Pine Knob Elementary School.
- In my class, we use technology for some of our learning. Sometimes we use technology as a tool.
- When I am using technology at school I need to remember the school technology rules.Use calm hands, and gently touch to keyboard, screen and mouse. I will be a responsible digital citizen and go to websites allowed by my teacher and school. I will hold my device with two hands and use it while sitting down.
- Sometimes the computer doesn't work or the wifi doesn't work or go very fast. I feel frustrated and worried when my tools don't work.
- When this happens I can take a deep breath, try again, or ask for help. If it is still not working, I can take a break. Sometimes computers don't work. That's frustrating but it's OK! I will still follow the school rules for technology.
- Sometimes my computer and the wifi work and sometimes they don't. I feel happy when they work. If they don't, it's ok. I can take a deep breath, try again, and ask for help. If it still doesn't work I can take a break. No one will be upset. I'm OK!
