- Moses killed an Egyptian who was beating a fellow Jew then, ran off to a nearby land
- Moses was an adopted Jew living with the pharaoh of Egypt
- But how?
- I will send 10 deadly plagues each time the pharaoh does not listen
- free the Jewish slaves!
- as Moses was running, god spoke to him through a burning bush
- years later, when Moses returned to Egypt, there was a new pharaoh and, Moses told him what god said
- then my god will send 10 plagues!
- let my people go!
- or what!?
- the pharaoh did not believe him. But Moses was not lying and each time the pharaoh said no, god sent down a plague until finale, the pharaoh's son died so they ran away
- Quickly after that, the pharaoh sent his military after Moses and his people
- when Moses and the Israelites were being pursued by the Egyptian army, they came upon the red sea
- as they made their escape, the water closed behind them drowning the soldiers
- when they came upon the red sea, Moses lifted his arms and with the power of god, blew the water apart from the east with the wind
