How I knew I wanted to be a teacher

- teacher!
- Elementary Teachers always ask what kids want to be when they grow up. I never really thought about it until then.
- Career/ College Day is Friday!
- Do I still want to be a teacher? I like crime shows, maybe I should do foresics
- I knew rather quickly I wanted to be a teacher. Probably around the 4th grade.
- Welcome to College Algebra!
- Mm.. this is hard... maybe I want to do elementary...
- I started playing school with my stuffed animals everyday. I would get home, take out all my papers and "teach" my animals!
- YEP! Elementary is where my heart is. I knew I made the right choice...
- I never waivered from wanting to be a teacher until I got to high school. I was watching NCIS and I thought it was so cool, so maybe I wanted to be in forensics. That didn't last too long, my heart was in the teaching field.
- I always loved math as a kid so I thought for sure I wanted to teach math. I got to college and quickly realized NOPE. I dont want to do that. I switched to EC-6 and was terrified.
- Every time I would go to an elementary classroom, I would feel reassured that I was where I was supposed to be. Now I love it and don't doubt my career choice one bit.
