- Please O'lord we know that we have sinned by setting up idols and not being faithful so please forgive us

- The reason why is because god is loving and compassionate .
- We must repent and turn back to god, ask for forgiveness. And don't repent without meaning, Or don't just repent for the sake of repenting to god, walk the talk and show that you care.

But God helps The Israelites, so they don’t have to be enslaved due to them repenting to God because they know they have done wrong. And then God accepted their apology and bring Justice to the other kingdoms that thought they were higher than god.
