- after jing-mei's mom lost everything in china she realized that since her daughter is half american she wanted her to be a prodigy child.

- ever since prodigy didnt work out for jing-mei and she wouldnt stop arguing her mom began to clean houses extra so she can take piano lessians

- when jing mei discovered that mr chong (her instructer) was deph she began to not try mr chong learned piano by vibrations but jing-mei was lazy until they signed her up to performe

- jing-mei was not nervous about going up there but the only thing that botherd her was that its hard not to mess up in front of a-lot of people so she keep her chill she was doing fine until that one note messed her up and then she messed up it all

- after the performance that went bad jing-mei was waiting for her mom to yell in anger and sadness but nothing so jing-mei was watching tv and her mom stood in front and said 'four clock' jing-mei did nothing over and over and the argue fight started
- its been more that 30 years and jing-mei was on a visit to the house after her mom died shortly her mom gave her the piano and jing-mei went to take a look at it 'it was still good and decided to take it
