- Cassie, Emily, Jay, Brandon, and Tim are good friends. They all go to Hartwell Academy in New York City. It is Jay's first year at this school. Next year they will all be sophomores together. Cassie is the adventurous one and is the leader of the group. Jay is very shy and intelligent. Emily is loyal, kind, and caring. Brandon has a big crush on Cassie and goes out of his way to please her. Tim is very selfless and would do anything for his friends.
- They liked hanging out together and doing adventurous things, like going on camping trips. They invited Jay to come with them on a camping trip to Idaho over the summer, because he was new to their school. They all made sure that Jay felt welcomed. Cassie was for sure, the most adventurous one out of the 5 of them. She even went on the slackline and hung off the edge of a cliff, despite Emily trying to talk her out of it. Brandon showed his loyalty when he tried to save Cassie on the cliff. Luckily, Cassie had a parachute and was safe. She wanted to live life to the fullest. They had fun on their trip and made many memories!
- Their biggest adventure was on their way home from their camping trip. They were having a good time until their plane was hijacked. Then, they worked together to figure out who was hijacking the plane and why. When Cassie started feeling sick, her friends tried to help her, but she died because she had been poisoned. Cassie's friends realized the pilot, Tony, was the one who poisoned Cassie and hijacked the plane to crash it into her Father's chemical plant for revenge, as the plant had previously leaked chemicals and killed Tony's granddaughter. When the group of friends figured out that Tony was the hijacker, Jay bravely protected his friends and killed Tony by throwing an oxygen tank at his head. To survive, Emily, Jay, Tim, and Brandon realized their only option was to jump off the plane partnered up with parachutes. Jay and Brandon shared a parachute together and survived. Tim and Emily were going to share a parachute, but Tim realized his weight would have overloaded the parachute. With his caring nature, he decided to sacrifice himself to let Emily have the parachute. He was going to die on the plane holding Cassie's hand, but he realized she would've wanted him to jump off of the plane for the adventure, so that is what he did. He did not survive. Emily, Jay and Brandon became even closer after their experience.
