- Amanda and Leo have been friends since they were born and have celebrated all their birthdays together.On their first birthday they celebrated it at Mr.Mcallister's Magic Castle Birthday Party Palace,and from then formed a close friendship.And soon on their 5th Birthday made flower pots and planted little apple seeds.Soon it was their 11th Birthday.

- Yes! But we cant let people see us together it would look wierd.They think we made up.
- Amanda's and Leo's 11 birthday is coming near, this year for the first time in their lives Leo and Amanda are having seperate parties.Amanda has to spend her evening in an itchy Dorothy costume for her Hollywood themed party. While across town her ex-bestfriend Leo is having a huge bash with a hypnotist, a foot ball star,a giant iguana,and a rock band.

- Um,I sort of broke mine.
- I cast the spell that is making you live the same day over and over again.And since you didn't speak to each other for 1 year the spell activated .
- But there is a solution,you know the apple trees you planted when you were 5 if you both kept the apple trees together it would protect you till your 18!
- Finally Amanda's birthday is here she cant wait for the day to be over.But her day doesn't go so well first her dad gets sick and now Amanda has to take the bus.Then in a hurry forgets her lunch.When she gets to school her locker gets stuck and she has to carry all her books. When she gets home she had put on a itchy Dorthy costume.At her party half the kids only came to drop of presents then left even Stephanie( her best friend) left early.At the end of the day she just wants this day to be over but then when she gets up its the same day all over again.

- After a few days of re living the same day all over again something new happened in her social studies textbook there was a note."Amanda,Meet me outside the cafe at lunchtime,Oh,and happy birthday(for the forth time!)-Leo. Amanda then saw the "Happy Birthday for the 4th time!" and relised that Leo was reliving the same day to.After lunch she and Leo would restart their friendship till they could solve this.
- After deciding to go to the Historical Museum to get evidence. After a while they came opon Leo's great-great grandpas notebook and found out that the Fizpatricks and the Ellerbys had conflicts many years back and that Angelina a old lady/witch cast the spell on their great grandparents.Angelina had to ensure that Amanda and Leo maintained a friendship so then they wouldn't fall into the curse.But since Leo and Amanda didn't talk for a year the curse's magic came again.There is only one way that they can go back to normal. Which is keeping the apple trees with them till their 18.So Leo and Amanda went to find the apple tree.

- A theme of 11 Birthdays is,distance cannot seperate true friends.I choose this theme because even when Amanda and Leo were mad at each other they still made things work to get out of the curse.
