- Bill Cosby was African American actor and inspirational leader. He grew up in Philadelphia and was born July 12, 1937. As a child, Bill lived in a two-story apartment with his parents William Henery Cosby and Anna pearl Cosby and his four other siblings
- During his life, Bill Cosby was seeing and hearing on Tv about the segregation that was going on down south and how blacks were being treated unfairly. As a result, he started boycotts and riots in different southern states to get peoples attention. He also contributed to the African American boys project and contributed to creating many schools.
- Bill Cosby is very important to African American history because he is very influential and he has contributed to a lot of causes concerning African Americans and is still looked up to today.
