- By 1844, Harriet was married to John Tubman, a free black man, and eventually, her name became Harriet Tubman.

- Ever since he married John Tubman, Harriet had a plan to create a underground railroad in order for her people to earn freedom.
- Must save my family and my people!
- Harriet had created an underground railroad from Maryland where she worked as a slave her whole life to Pennsylvania in which she traveled 90 North.
- I found an exit!
- Eventually Harriet Tubman ended up in Pennsylvania and she was able to find a job at a household as a house keeper.

- Can I work at your household?
- Harriet didn't feel right that she has the freedom and her family and her people don't have freedom so therefore she had ran all the way back where she was born and have eventually arrived back to Maryland.

- By 1849, Harriet arrived at Maryland to save here family and people they all came running towards the underground railroad that Harriet has created and had established freedom for enslaved African Americans.
