In 1775 The Quartering Act was passed which punished the colonies that were boycotting. It was made to place British soldiers in colonists homes against what they say, and Britain sent additional soldiers to the colonies just to fill up peoples homes. It also didn't matter what you owned whether it be a business or home you have to let a soldier stay there
The Boston Massacre was an event that happened in 1770 and it all started because of an argument between a colonist and a British Soldier. After a bit many colonists had gathered around and were protesting and throwing various items at the only 7 soldiers who were there. The soldiers soon fired upon the crowd and ended up killing 5 people.
The Tea Act is where British tea companies did not have to pay the same tax the colonial tea merchants had to pay, with the tea being sold at a lower price it was hard for the colonists to stay in business. This all resulted in a group known as the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Indians and dumped millions of dollars of tea into the Boston Harbor, which is known as The Boston Tea Party.
