- Okay everyone, follow me. We're going out to the field to complete a Talking Circle
- Okay everyone, let's get into a circle, get comfortable. Here we have a Talking Stick, this will indicate who has a chance to speak. While someone is speaking, everyone else is listening respectfully.
- Over the past few days, we have been discussing culture, and how it affects our behaviours. Today I would like us to share some of our own world views, and consider how our culture has shaped them.
- Ms. Frutti, can you give us an example?
- Sure, I'll start. My grandparent's immigrated from Southern Italy, so my family's traditions follow much of the Roman Catholic Church. We believe in heaven.
- Growing up Catholic influence my understanding of life and death. When someone died, family felt peace knowing they were with Jesus.
- Well, my family believes something different. Can I share?
