"He threw himself on me like a wild beast, beating me in the chest, on my head, throwing me to the ground and picking me up again, crushing me with ever more violent blows, until I was covered in blood." (Wiesel 53) This describes man vs man because it is a fight between two men, and ends up in the office beating Elie
Man vs Nature
"I kept repeating to myself: '"Don't think, don't stop, run!"' ( Wiesel 85-86) Elie in chapter six is in an eventful stage in history referred to as the death march this is man vs self because she is telling herself to keep going and forget about the pain in hr foot from the frostbite which she recently went to the doctor for.
Man vs Society

"That night, the soup tasted of corpses."(Wiesel 65) This is a reference to man vs god because after the hanging they asked, where is god and many responded with, hanging here. This meaning they feel the since of death and god surrounding them that night and Elie himself couldn't stop thinking about the horrible hangings.
"As we were not permitted to ben down, we took out our spoons and ate the snow off our neighbors' backs." (Wiesel 96). A great example of man vs nature of the prisoners using nature and there surroundings as a way to survive, the reason why the prisoners were eating snow was to quench their thirst.
"But people not only refused to believe his tales, they refused to listen." (Wiesel 7). Example of man vs society because Moshie is trying to tell stories to other Jews and what will happen to them but no one will listen and believe him, some even call him crazy.
