  • THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 1929 CREATED UNPRECEDENTED DISASTER ACROSS THE U.S. THE WIDESPREAD DROUGHT KILLED CROPS AND LIVESTOCK ACROSS THE NATION.
  • ONE OF THE WORST DROUGHTS IN HISTORY STRUCK THE GREAT PLAINS IN 1934 CAUSING THE WINDS TO CREATE THE DUST BOWL.
  • ABOUT 2.5 MILLION PEOPLE FLED THE PLAINS STATES AND MOVED TO CALIFORNIA. THIS MEANT ENTIRE FAMILIES DESPERATE FOR INCOME AND SAFETY FROM THE WIND STARTED OVER AT THE BEGINNING OF A WORLDWIDE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE.
  • AMERICAN BANKS DEALING WITH INFLATION HAD STARTED TO RUN OUT OF MONEY. SINCE THE YEARS PRIOR THE AMERICAN ECONOMY HAD BEEN FOUNDED ON CREDIT THE BANKS NO LONGER HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO STAY OPEN.
