- I see how you might think that but, what if you have an emergency and you're the first person that you're family thinks of to text, huh, Hector?
- Phones give people a better way of communicating even during school.
- Imagine you listening to the teacher and mid-sentence your phone beeps and you pull out your phone. Think of all the distractions.
- It gives people a way of speaking to each other when they are not in the same classes together. What if you want ask what time an assignment is due?
- You have a good reason, but why not text them after-school.
- Mrs. Potter will be proud of the way we are debating right now.
