- Hmm, well, I've been reading about the differences between homegrown and store-bought food, and it seems to me that the healthier, safer option is the food you grow on your own at home!
- Oh! Is that so? But growing your own food sounds like too much effort!
- That might be true, but it's worth it in the end. You see, with homegrown you know what's going in your meal, but you can never tell with store-bought these days. They use all these harmful chemicals to make the food look more appealing, but it lowers it's nutritional value.
- You do make a good point. Most companies use chemicals to make their products last longer, regardless of the effect it has.
- I remember when you had that party for your promotion, you invited us all to your house for a barbecue. Your yard seems big enough for a small garden, why don't you try planting some fruits and vegetables there? I could lend you my gardening tools!
- You'd do that for me? Awesome! I suppose I could start with planting something easy, like tomatoes.
