Demeter's story
Text z Príbehu
- One day while persephone was picking flowers, Hades came to the Overworld and took her.
- Demeter looked for her daughter for 9 days.
- Demeter was told her daughter was in the underworld and had been taken by Hades. What she didn't know is that Persephone loved Hades.
- Demeter tried to get her back but she had eaten Hades fruit. This meant that for 6 months Persephone would be in the Underworld causing the Overworld to have Winter and Fall.
- For the other 6 months she would be with Demeter in the Overworld causing it to be Spring and Summer.
- The story of Demeter shows how strong a bond between mother and daughter can be.
