- The major innovation associated with this agricultural revolution is the domestication of plants and animals. People were able to adopt more sedentary lifestyles that allowed new jobs and specialization, which in turn allowed a social hierarchy, mainly based on importance of jobs, to form

Positive effects were decline in world hunger, increase in food production, and using less land. negative effects were heavy irrigation and use of chemicals, that caused water pollution, and a large gap between richer and poorer farmers in the LDC's.
