- In 1905, a group of workers protested outside the palace against the government. The soldiers that were protecting the palace started shooting and killing all the workers.
- Civil War in Russia
- The people of Russia were upset because they were not given enough food and they were starving. This led to thousands of women marching to the capital to protest against food shortages.
- Red Terror
- “Lenin says we must kill them all.”
- The October Revolutions was when the Bolsheviks were able to take control of Russia. The Bolsheviks formed a group called the Red Guards in order to take over and defeat the Whites and storm the palace.
- The Death of Lenin and Rise of Stalin
- A civil war broke out when the Whites and Reds fought against each other. In the end the Reds won and gave power back to Lenin.
- Lenin gave out an order to arrest and assassinate any person that was suspect to the revolution. Lenin killed around 300,000 people along with the Czar and his family.
- Lenin dies after many attempts at being assassinated, which led to a heart attack, and Stalin takes power. Stalin purges and kills anyone that goes against him.
