- Man vs Nature

- This is man vs Nature because they only had to resort to snow as drinks and they couldn't bend over either. The temperature was below 0 and it was freezing and the snow didn't help them much.
- Man vs God
- He was not happy and debated with himself why he would thank the god. Why would he ever pray to him him if he were not to help us and why he wouldn't talk back to us.
- Man vs Society
- "For the first time, I felt anger rising within me. Why should I sanctify his name? The almighty, the eternal and terrible master of the Universe, chose to be silent.What was I to thank him for." (Weisel 32)
- I put this here because he comes in conflict with the SS officer and he says he's fifteen. The problem is that the age age to work is 18 and they wanted him to work instead of just burning him alive.
- He says this because he went into this and god for him wan't telling him stuff or not talking to him. So now he is just not gonna come in contact with god anymore.
- " I am no longer accepting God's Silence."(Weisel 69)
- This is man versus society because the Jews are the man and the world is the society. The foreign Jews were forced to leave.
- And then, one day all foreign Jews were expelled from sighet." (Weisel 6)
