In the 1300s, a disease called the bubonic plague came in Asia and Europe in the late 1340s. Over the next two centuries, this terrifying disease killed millions in Europe. It hit anyone and everyone. Most people who caught the plague died within days. Communities were starting to wipe out. Eventually, there was a worker shortage because everyone had either gotten the plague or were too scared to come out. The deaths of so many people led to sweeping economic and social changes.

The crusades were against the muslims because they wanted to take over the holy land. How did this affect the feudal system? Well, because so many knights died, people started escaping out of fear. This led to a huge shift in power and ended the entire feudal system.

Magna Carta encouraged democracy, it was an agreement that was between the nobles and the monarchs. It gave more rights to the nobles and limited the monarchs power. this caused the feudal system to come to an end.
The Hundred Years' War was a battles between England and France becuase both wanted the French lands. Monarchs on both sides collected taxes and raised professional armies so they didn't rely on nobles for knights anymore.The commoners people who survived were needed for work and gained power. These two things caused a shift in power and led to the end of feudalism
