- October 1763,The british made a bondury saying that the colonist cannot use the land from the french and indian war.The Colonist was obviously mad about this and they tried to overturn the fact they couldnt have any of this land from the war even though the wom.
- Boston Massacre
- On April 5th 1764 In Parliment Great Britain, the sugar act reduced the amount of tax colonist had to pay for molasses but there were also things that still got taxed. This event strengthed the enforcement of smuggling cases.
- Boston Tea Party
- On March 22, This act required colonist to purchase special stamped paper for every legal document, license, newspaper, pamphlet etc.This all caused the Bostonians to organize a secret group called sons of liberty the group was founded by Sam Adams. They boycotted the Act until March of 1766 where the act would be took down.
- Intolerable act
- On March 5th 1770 there was a riot between the Bostonians and british which ended in 5 colonist getting shot but before there were colonist yelling and screaming at them. 1 of the colonist said fire which made the british think ut was their commander that said fire when in reality it wasnt.
- On December 16, 1773 the colonist dressed up as native and dumped 1,000,000 dollars of tea in the ocean due to the taxes being thrown at them this made them protest.
- In 1774 of june 2, After the Boston Tea party the english closed the boston harbor, made the quatering acts which allowed soldiers to be housed in vacant homes, boston was later ruled by militray forces.
