- We should form a political party, it would be full of support from the farmers.

- We will force unlimited coinage of silver to ease our credit burdens and earn more for crops! We will also fight for loans and federal warehouses for farmers, and graduated income tax.

- The populist party began its downfall after the loss of the election in 1896. They lost support when they couldn't get white and black farmers to unite, and would later integrate into the democratic party.
