- September 1 1939, Germany invades Poland starting the second World War. It was a tragic part of the war, because so many people died. The reason why Germany did this is because poland has not yet payed Germany their land. Then, they were attacked.
- September 17 1939, The soviet union invades poland to be the aid of there brothers blood. Poland had Ukrainians trapped in the country of poland. The soviet attacked as soon as they could to save there allies.
- France and Great Britain declares war on Germany in 1939 getting payback on germany for attacking France. Great Britain became allies with eachother before the war for extra support and trade.
- The bombing of pearl harbor was an emotional day for america. The Japanese took charge and invaded The americans when the didn't expect it. On december 7 1941 Pearl harbor was bombed. It is now a world herritage site in Hawaii for everyone to see.
- Omaha Beach was one of the worst battles america was in. On june 6 1944, America sailed across the atlantic ocean to invade Germany. They were stopped by the Germans on the coast of France. American soldiers were hit by intense fire by machine guns on the hills. About 4,431 soldiers died that day.
- September 1st 1939 the British bombed the city of Berlin and Dresden. 363air raids were done in Berlin. The british bombed Germany and they were furious. Great britain didnt know that this was the start of great terrors thst Germany was going to do.
