- The story begins in the year 2055, Eckles pays Travis $10,000 to shoot a Tyrannosaurs rex. Travis warns Eckels taht going off the path or killing anything can lead to consequences in the future
- Falling action
- If anything happens i will KILL YOU!
- Eckels spots a Tyrannosaurus rex but relises that its big, he starts to get scared and backs out. Travis gets mad and tells him to go back to the time machine
- Resolution
- While going to the time machine Eckles goes off the path and accidentally steps on a butterfly
- When they all went back to the time machine, Travis gets mad at Eckels and warns him that if any change happens in the future he will kill him
- When they returned to the present, they witness that the elections have changed and the english spelling so Travis knew this all happened because of Eckels mistake during their trip, so as promised Travis shot Eckels
