- a group of Anglo settlers formed a rebellion against Mexican rule in june 1832.
- Texas wanted to be independent so they wrote a constitution for Stephen F Austin to take to Mexico but he was arrested when he got there.
- Santa Anna. Anglo immigration,Indian protection,No Taxes,and land titles for settlers in the east
- Mexico wanted the cannon they gave to Texas back but Texas said no and they waved a white flag that said "come and take it" and that started the Texas revolution.
