- Ladies and Gentlemen... ah forget it.
- Ladies and gentlemen, sorry, Harrison Bergeron, aged fourteen, has escaped from prison after he was arrested for plotting to overthrow the government. He is a genius and an athlete. So, if you ever see him, then do not, I mean it, do not try to reason with him.
- Just then, an announcer arrives with a news bulletin on his hand. He tries to speak, but gives up and one of the ballerinas was to read in his place now. That's when Hazel commented that the announcer should be given a nice raise for trying so hard to speak. The ballerina must have been an extraordinary beauty, because the mask she wore was hideous. She must have been the most graceful and strongest, because the bags she carried were the same weight as those carried by three hundred pound men. Her voice was a timeless melody, but she apologized for her grace and squawked out the speech

- There was a picture showing Harrison himself. He was exactly seven feet tall. To offset his good looks, there was a rubber ball for a nose, a tremendous pair of sunglasses and headphones with sounds piercing sharply into his ear, as if they were to make him both blind and deaf. The rest of him was Halloween and hardware. He had three bags, heavy as if an elephant were in each bag - two strapped on his hands and one on the front of his neck.
