Many years ago, there was a village where a powefull witch was seeking for something very special, inmortality. His name was Meldar. He believes that death can be stopped so he will not restuntil he finds a way.

He learned about an old grimoire with the spell of inmortality. He began with the spell. He used his blood, a dagger and created a mark on his arm that symbolized his inmortality. All he had to do was killhimself and he will reborn as someone new. Later, he woke up. However, If he could never die nature will find a balance, a version of him that could die, a shadow self, a doppelganger. He needed to kill every one of them that will exist every 50 years in order to stay "alive" until he kills the one that makes him truly inmortal.

Years and years have passed and finally, Meldar needed to kill just one more of his shadows to reach his purpose. The last doppelganger was Alex, a 20 years old man building a life for himself that had no idea of his destiny. One day, at night, Alex and his father John, were walking through the woods in their way home when Meldar knocked out John with just a move of his hand and took Alex.
