all stars come from an explosion called a stellar nebula, a stellar nebula is when a star is nearing the end of its life, it dies in an explosion that throws space dust and building blocks of stars, they eventually come together to form stars.
After the dense dust clouds and gas particles from the supernova combine due to gravity, they start to collapse the pressure begins to build up pressure that turns into heat, eventually forming a massive star.
Once the massive star exhausts all of its hydrogen fuel it stars to burn alternative fuel sources, such as helium and other gasses and elements. once this process starts, the star may grow 40x larger than its original state due to the outer layers being pushed outwards, but due to being so large, the star burns far colder.
Once the pressure of the star drops low enough the star will rapidly collapse on it self and exploding, this process occurs in a matter of seconds, forming a supernova.
after a supernova occurs, an extremely dense core is left behind, this core entirely consists of neutrons, the stars are very small in diameter but one of the most densely packed objects in space.
