Prehľad Aktivít
Študenti sa môžu príliš zaoberať tým, čo by mali zlepšiť, ako by mali vyzerať alebo ako by sa mali obliekať. Tínedžeri sú náchylní na vplyv médií a médiá sú, žiaľ, plné spôsobov, ako rúcať obraz tela. Študenti, ktorí už zažívajú skreslené predstavy o tele, sú ľahko a silne ovplyvnení. Ak sa tínedžeri dokážu sústrediť na to, kým sú a čo sa im na sebe páči, nemusia byť tak náchylní ísť do extrémov, aby to zmenili. V týchto aktivitách SEL sa študenti zamerajú na to, aké sú ich schopnosti, a nie na ich vzhľad.
Keď študenti dokončia svoju prácu, môžete ich zavesiť na nástenku alebo stenu v triede. Veľké množstvo pozitívnych obrázkov pomôže vytvoriť prostredie, ktoré je pre telo príjemnejšie. Niektorí študenti len zriedka vidia stenu pozitivity. Okrem toho príklady, ktoré pochádzajú od rovesníkov, môžu tiež znamenať viac ako niečo, čo vytvoril učiteľ.
