- Long ago there lived a poor, hardworking and a honest woodcutter. As he was poor nobody stayed with him .

- One day as he was going home through the forest, he heard a voice, "Hello, Hello!". He turned around but did not see anyone. Once again he heard a voice, "Hello, Hello!. This time he turned around as quick as possible and to his surprise it was a talking log!!

- He took the talking log home and carved it into a puppet and named it Pinocchio. Finally he had someone with whom he could talk and share his emotions. For him Pinocchio was his son, Pinocchio also called him Papa.

- He took Pinocchio everywhere he went. He introduced Pinocchio to his friends, neighbors , as his son. And Pinocchio also became friends with their children.One day, all the friends got together and went to the puppet show along with Pinocchio.
- The puppets in the show were very exited to see Pinocchio and did not listen or do as per their master. They also wanted to be free and roam along with Pinocchio. Due to this, the puppet master put Pinocchio out of the theatre.
- Outside the theatre, Pinocchio cried, "Papa..."There he met a crooked cat and a fox who wanted to destroy him. Exactly at that time a fairy was passing by, who helped Pinocchio to reach to his Papa.
