- First things first, I, the animal cell, don't have a cell wall.
- But I do! My cell wall provides me with both structural support and protection!

- I also don't have chloroplasts.
- What are those?
- Allow me to explain. Chloroplasts are cell organelles in which photosynthesis occurs.

- Here's something I have that the plant cell doesn't... Lysosomes! They are basically organelles that contain digestive enzymes which break down dead or unwanted organelles.

- Another difference is that my shape can be rectangular or square, whereas the animal cell's shape can be round or irregular.

- Now let's move on to the similarities. Firstly, we both have a nucleus which is the organelle that controls the cell activities.
- Also, we both have mitochondrion, also known as the power house of the cell, since they release energy from food.
- Woah!
- Lastly, we both have ribosomes. They are found in the cell cytoplasm, and are the structures in which protein synthesis occurs.
