- Hello, how are you?
- Hmm..I am glad to see that you are doing well. I am nephrons present in your as well as all humans body, i have came outside to have a talk with you for a while and then i will go back inside your body.
- Umm..Hello..? I am doing good, i am sorry but i couldn't recognise you. Who are you? what are you doing here and from where have you came from?
- You have came out of my body..? how? and if you live inside me then what is your function? where do you live inside me? how did you came out? how can a body part come outside and talk to us..?
- I knew that you will have hundreds of questions to ask me, but first of all relax, don't panic, don't get scared,how i came out lets keep that a secret between me and god only..hmm, but yes i can tell you in brief about myself and my function, i live inside you, inside your kidneys, and i have came out to tell you about me and clarify my importance inside a human body.
- Its my duty dear, i can't get rid of it.
- I (Nephron) am known as structural and functional unit of kidney. My main function is to produce urine from blood so that blood gets purified and all the harmful and toxic substances from the blood gets removed along with excess of water. I reabsorb what is needed and excrete the rest in the form of urine from blood. These are some of my main functions which you can easily understand and can get a clear-cut idea for what all things i am responsible for. If i would not be there then it would be quite possible that you wouldn't be able to excrete a large amount of wastes out of your body, and might get a lot of harmful diseases since your blood would not be purified.
- Oh wow!! You are the one who makes urine inside a human body and help us to remove all the harmful substances present in the blood in the form of urine. I would like to thank you from the behalf of all humans, Thank you so much
- Do you know?I am not the only one nephron to perform all these function. I have a lot of my friends to help me while performing these processes. Can you guess how many of us perform this process?
- Hmm.. You are quite correct for such a big process few of us will not work. For your surprise there are about 1000000 -2000000 nephrons present in a human body to perform this process.
- Umm.. I believe that there would be many because some 100-200 can't perform such a big process. Maybe around 100000-200000. Rest you might tell much better.

It was nice meeting you and we had a nice talk on me. Well i had came to tell you about me,my functions and my importance and now i have done my job.
