- The mysterious disease outbreak that affected the Springville community infected 55 850 people in 30 days. Majority of infected people presented of signs and symptoms related to Covid-19. Laboratory results confirmed that 150 samples tested positive for Covid-19
- Within a population 625000 people, there are 55 890 cases of individuals affected in 30 days. We need to disseminate information to educate people about covid-19 and later plan the rollout Covid-19 vaccines in the whole of Springville. Since well we have people who are either Pro or Anti-Vaccine, we need to conduct a Mixed-Method Study design to estimate and quantify the total numbers people and attitudes of community towards vaccines.
- Anti-Vaccines residents sited reasons like religious beliefs, cultural taboos and ingredients that vaccines are made of. Others expressed lack of trust and side-effects based on rumors and misinformation
- The Mixed Methods research design will be used to explored the phenomenon, whereby a systematic integration of Quantitative and Qualitative approach will be used. I qualitative phenomenological study, semi-structured interviews will be conducted at participant's place. For Quantitative study, surveys will be conducted to determine severity of disease based on symptoms patients presented with.
- The results of the survey shows that out off 100 000 participants only 40% agreed to vaccinate. Only 20% out off 55890 patients from Yellow Researchers are willing to recover at the hospital
