The sphinx was a very important part of Egyptian culture. It was a form of Ra the sun god. He was a protector of the temple doors. The pryamids represented life after death. They believed in the afterlife so, the pyramids were made to house the tombs of pharaohs.
Egypt had a monarchy. They had one pharaoh/king. For example King tut, the most famous king focused on religion and worshiping the god Amun. Queen Hatshepsut focus on forming alliances and trade. Three main things they exported in trade was linen, gold, and grain. They also exported papyrus, which was like paper.
Egypt had a very straight forward social structure.At the top they had the pharaoh, then they had the ruling class which consisted of priest, vizers, and Nobels. Then they had the service providers, scribes, doctors, merchants, etc.. Lastly they had the lowest class,pesents,slaves, and poor farmers.
