- Indian Removal in the Southeast (The Trail Of Tears)
- in 1831 the trail of tears was the americans forced the indians to oklahoma and the cheroke had to go over 1000 miles and over 4000 died. the amercans did this because of the idea of westward expansion.

- Texas (Battle of Gonzales)
- On October 2, 1835 in the town of Gonzales, the Mexican authorities decided to disarm the Texans. The Texans did not allow the Mexicans in, so after an intense standoff, the first shots were fired which led to the start of a war.
- The USA buying the Louisiana Colonies was significant because because it gave the USA the Mississippi River which was a key water way to travel and it gave them access to more recourses and more trading opportunity. The USA buying the Louisiana Colonies is significant to the Native Americans because it makes a big difference in their life once the USA takes over their land.

- In 1846 president Polk made Britain think he would go to war with them, but he was bluffing. In Oregon, Great Britain agreed with the USA that the border would be across the 49th parallel. Of course he really only wanted this land because of the idea of Manifest Destiny
- The Trail of Tears was significant to the Indians because they had to leave all of their culture in the past and they had to start new villages and homes and that was hard and sad for them. The Trail of Tears was important to the USA because it gave them more internal power and it put fear into the eyes of the other Native American tribes.

- On December 29, 1890, the US army surrounded a camp of Indians near Wounded Knee Creek. The US was trying to disarm them, but a shot was fired and the massacre ensued. They killed hundreds of Indians, and they were awarded medals of honor. this was a very shameful day of US history.
- The Battle of Gonzales is important to the Texans because it increased the hostility with the Texans. It was significant to the Mexicans because after this started there was no going back

- This is significant to the Texans because it gave them hope that they would survive and be protected by the USA. This was significant to the USA because it gave some of them better political recognition.

- This is significant because this is a very shameful moment in the united states history and many other nations and groups of people will see them from this moment. This is important to the Indigenous people because it showed that the USA didn't take mercy because you were a mother or a father or a child, they just killed.
