- Ichabod Crane is a schoolmaster. The characters are Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel who Brom and Ichabod are fighting for her, Brom Bones who loves to prank Ichabod, the headless horseman, and other strangers. The setting takes place in many different places such as: The schoolhouse, Katrina's Mansion, a forest, and Sleepy Hollow. The conflict is that Ichabod wants to marry Katrina, but Brom Bones is his biggest competition for her.
- Falling Action
- BAM!
- Ichabod had more access to Katrina because he taught her music and school. Sadly, Brom Bones messed up the schoolhouse and Ichabod thought some witches had a meeting there. He got invited to Katrina's party at her mansion.
- Resolution
- He went to the party and danced with Katrina. Katrina rejected him. Many people left the party, Brom Bones left early. While Ichabod was going home the headless horseman started to chase him.
- Conflict
- Gunpowder's (his horse.) saddle fell of the horse onto the ground. Ichabod crossed a bridge and the headless horseman blew up and threw his pumpkin head and it hit the back of the head of Ichabod. Ichabod fell on the ground and fainted.
- Ichabod's scholars searched for him in the morning, but found nothing. Ichabod actually was found in New York and became a supreme in the court. Brom Bones married Katrina in the end.
- The conflict is that Ichabod wants to marry Katrina for her wealth, but Brom Bones wants to marry Katrina for her love.
